Today Bolgheri is one of the most interesting and seductive areas in Tuscany, celebrated for its history and its great wines, which over the years have created what we now call ‘the Bolgheri style’.
In 2001, Marilisa Allegrini and her brother Walter, inspired by the desire to take on a new challenge beyond the confines of their beloved Valpolicella, immediately fell in love with this area, its beauty and its great potential. Here at Poggio al Tesoro, their dream became a reality, in a vineyard that extends over more than 70 hectares between the Tyrrhenian Sea and the foothills of the Colline Metallifere.

Within just a few years, Poggio al Tesoro has become one of the most dynamic wineries in Bolgheri, with wines that are distinguished by their excellence and originality and a distinct personality.
