Il Seggio

Il Seggio is named after the river that flows through the Bolgheri territory, the largest watercourse in the municipality of Castagneto Carducci. It originates in the mineral-rich hills of Sassetta, an area abundant in iron ore deposits and known since Etruscan times. Along its course, the river enriches the clay soils typical of Bolgheri. The wine displays an intense ruby-red colour. On the nose, it reveals fresh, crisp fruit, complemented by mineral and spicy notes and elegant hints of red berries. On the palate, it is precise, clean and lively.
