San Polo

San Polo is located in Podernovi, in the southeastern area of Montalcino, and extends over 22 hectares, 16 of which are planted with vines, including 8 dedicated to Brunello production. A territory renowned for its beautiful landscape, centuries-old history and, above all, Sangiovese, which finds its finest expression here. In 2007, captivated by this remarkable place, Marilisa Allegrini decided to acquire San Polo. The winery, an example of sustainable architecture, was designed to reduce energy consumption and environmental impact, creating ideal conditions for the careful handling of the grapes. Certified organic since 2017, San Polo enhances the identity of each vineyard through meticulous parcel selection, highlighting the different expressions of Sangiovese in relation to the characteristics of the soils.
