Teos

Teos, an ancient Greek city dear to the god Dionysus and renowned for its poets and winemaking tradition that made it a key center of the wine cult, gives its name to Poggio al Tesoro’s sweet wine. Made from 100% Petit Manseng grown in the Le Sondraie vineyard, the grapes are naturally dried using a technique typical of Valpolicella. After 12 months in barrique, it reveals a deep golden hue, aromas of ripe fruit, apricot, saffron, and honey. On the palate it’s rich and spicy, with balanced sweetness, bright acidity, and notes of caramel and licorice.
